Kimberly Binning Chevlin
President
Kimberly has been a teacher at MVUSD since 1997 and a part of MEA since 1999. Since becoming President in 2019 Kimberly has dedicated her time to making sure educators rights and desires are being held to a highest standard. Her goals as President of MEA
are to advocate on the behalf of our members . To promote unity and inclusion among educators of all levels, and to continue the work of the organizing committee to establish a strong line of communication with our members .

Vice President
Lisa began as a site rep and quickly ascended the ranks to become our organizing chair. And from that point, there was no looking back as Lisa has proven time and again her passion for the membership of MEA. She has since stepped up to become our bargaining chair and Vice President. She is currently a 7th math teacher, at Dorothy McElhinney Middle School
Secretary
Heather has been working in elementary education for over 10 years. She has her Bachelor's Degree from San Diego State University, her teaching credential from Cal State University San Marcos, and her Master's Degree in Education from American College of Education. She has 2 children that currently attend Murrieta Schools. Heather is passionate about helping to support new teachers as well as advocating for all members. She looks forward to collaborating with the Executive Board to best serve our membership. She has been the MEA Secretary since 2022.
Treasurer
Julie received her Master's Degree and Teaching Credential from Azusa Pacific University. In 2016, She completed my Administration Credential as well as a Single Subject Matter in Math Credential.
She have worked in education for over 21 years and has taught 2nd, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade.
Julie has been married for 28 years. They have three children, Jaclyn, Johnny, and Lexi.
Her hobbies include camping with her family, sewing, martial arts (4th degree Blackbelt in Taekwondo), Angels baseball, and collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia.

Elementary School Director
Brittany was raised here in Murrieta and is a product of our schools. Growing up, she was passionate about two things: leadership and babies (hence her degree). She graduated from ASU with a BA in Early Childhood Education. She has been an educator for over 8 years. Brittany taught Kindergarten in Arizona for 5 years before returning back to Murrieta to raise her own family. She subbed for MVUSD for 2 years before accepting a 2nd grade position at Rail Ranch Elementary. She is now a 1st grade teacher at Monte Vista Elementary School. She lead on the Executive Board as Secretary for 2 years. As the new MEA Elementary School Director she would like to thank you for allowing her the opportunity to continue serve the members of this wonderful union.
Middle School Director
I have been teaching for 22 years. I began my career in education teaching kindergarten in Vista, California. I moved up to Murrieta in 1998 and started teaching at Avaxat Elementary School. I have taught kindergarten, second, third and eighth grades. During this time I have also taught at the Adult Education School helping students earn their diplomas. I am excited to begin another wonderful year at DMMS.
High School Director
Chris holds a BA in English, a BA in English Education, and an MA in English--and has been a member of the Vista Murrieta English Department since 2016. In his 20+ years as an educator, his adventures have included teaching in Title I schools, serving in numerous site leadership and extracurricular capacities, and engaging in a variety of civic leadership/advocacy roles. Chris welcomes the challenges of representing the interests of his fellow secondary educators and is honored to serve as MEA High School Director.
Sp Ed. Director
Heidi began working in Murrieta in 2003. She was a Resource Specialist at Warm Springs Middle School for 7 years before taking the leap to High School in 2010. "Working at Murrieta High School has been incredibly rewarding as I have grown as a person, and a teacher.
I can honestly say, I love my job!"

SSSP Director
Cynthia is a Speech and Language Pathologist at Antelope Hills Elementary. She has worked for MVUSD since 2011. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona in 1995. She received her Master of Arts degree in Communication Disorders and her Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential from California State University, Fullerton in 2011. She has been the Specialized Student Support Personnel director for MEA since 2019.
